Drive the new Ford EcoSport for 60 days by joining interactive contest

Ford Philippines announced a new interactive pre-launch campaign, in anticipation of the arrival of the all-new Ford EcoSport in the country. ‘EcoSport Urban Discoveries’ is designed to bring out the city adventurer in every Filipino consumer by inviting them to share their favorite urban discoveries around the metro and how the all-new Ford EcoSport makes it easier to get there.

Starting January 3, 2014 until January 30, 2014, participants will be asked to submit their personal favorite city discoveries and share it with their friends and family through the EcoSport Urban Discoveries website. From all the entries submitted, six finalists will be selected and only one finalist will win a unique 60-day Urban Adventure with the all-new Ford EcoSport.

Share Your Urban Discovery

To join the ‘EcoSport Urban Discoveries’ campaign, participants must visit the EcoSport Urban Discoveries website (www.ecosportdiscover.com.ph) and register. All participants must be at least 18 years of age and a Philippine resident with a valid driver’s license.

The first leg of the campaign will be from January 3, 2014 to January 30, 2014. During this period, participants can submit their EcoSport Urban Discovery entries online via www.ecosportdiscover.com.ph with a short description of their chosen location and how the all-new Ford EcoSport makes it easier to get to their discovery. Each participant may submit up to four entries only.  All entries will be judged by a panel of Ford representatives with consideration on the following criteria: overall appeal of the discovery, creativity and popularity based on number of “Likes” received. Based on their final scores, the top 30 entries will be selected to move on to the semi-finals round.

Semi-Finalists

The 30 semi-finalists will each be asked to submit an audition video, explaining why Ford should choose him/her to be one of the six finalists to drive the all-new Ford EcoSport. Each entry will be scored on the participant’s previous score and personality based on the video submitted. Participants will only be given five days, from January 31, 2014 to February 5, 2014 to submit their entries.

Grand Prize Winner of the EcoSport Urban Adventure

The six finalists will be invited to participate in the final phase, where they will get to experience driving the all-new Ford EcoSport first-hand. Together with a family member or friend, the shortlist of candidates will embark on a road trip where they will visit 2-3 Urban Discovery locations around their city. During this trip, they will be required to document their adventure through blog updates and video entries.

Each entry will be judged by a panel of Ford representatives and they will score each entry according to the video’s engagement on social media and overall creativity. In the end, only one finalist will win the grand prize of a unique 60-day Urban Adventure with the all-new Ford EcoSport.

Announcement of the grand prize winner will be on the opening day of the Manila International Auto Show on April 3, 2014.
