Chevrolet Philippines Achieves Record Sales in 2013

Chevrolet Philippines has achieved unprecedented record numbers in terms of sales this past 2013. Chevrolet unit sales now ranks 9th overall in the Philippine automotive industry with an impressive 52% growth from 2012 to 2013 and a total of 5,058 sales for the year.

 

In December 2013, the brand exceeded expectations and saw a boost in sales by posting an 84.8% improvement against its December 2012 performance with 634 units sold. This record month, was led by the Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) and the Chevrolet Colorado pick-up truck.

 

The ‘Bowtie’, as it has come to be known and loved, has brought quality American engineering to Philippine shores and has put Filipinos behind the wheels of heritage rich cars. Since its re-introduction to the local market last 2009 by its exclusive importer and distributor Chevrolet Philippines-The Covenant Car Company Inc. (TCCCI), the brand has steadily grown to capture a significant share of the Philippine automotive market through innovative products and equally excellent service.

Reinforcing the brand’s commitment to “Re-Ignite the Passion for Chevrolet”, TCCCI has ramped up its number of dealerships from 12 to 20. The number of Chevrolet dealerships nationwide is projected to grow to 29 fully operational stations by the end of 2014.
