Actor Dantes shares stellar billing with Grand Santa Fe as Hyundai Parañaque West opens

Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (Hari), official distributor of Hyundai cars in the Philippines, together with its dealer principals formally opened its 41st dealership located in south Metro Manila along Ninoy Aquino Avenue in Parañaque City recently.

Joining Rep. Irwin Tieng and his family, who own the property where the dealership stands, as partner for the project is actor-businessman Dingdong Dantes and Mark Sayarot. Dantes also serves as vice president of the company.

Tieng’s family also owns broadcasting and movie production powerhouse Solar Entertainment Corp. (formerly Solar Films) and is the exclusive distributor of BYD vehicles in the country.

Dubbed as Hyundai’s Center of Excellence, the dealership has complied with all the corporate identity and quality standards. According to Hari president and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo, this dealership offers state-of-the-art facilities and is prepared to sustain growth for its first three to five years and possible expansion in as early as 12 months.

While Rep. Tieng intimated that his application for a Hyundai dealership took over two years before it was approved, Agudo explained that “[w]e are not mushrooming our dealerships as these things take time.”

Just like in all good things that take time, she said Hari’s recent 25-percent growth was attributed to a more stable supply of vehicles from Korea and that she looks forward to continuing this growth. Hyundai is the third largest automotive brand in the country.

Kick-off another phase

Agudo and Conrad Marty officially welcome dealer principals Dantes, Tieng and Sayarot to the Hyundai family by giving them the Blue Bulb Marker.
