MANILA, Philippines–Ford Philippines has revealed the all-new Mustang just weeks after the factory in Flat Rock, Michigan, began delivering units to dealers.

No less than the 50 Years Limited Edition will be released first, and only 64 units will be sold, in honor of the 1964 launch of the original Mustang.

The 2015 Mustang 50 Years Limited Edition features the 5-liter V8 that delivers 435 horsepower and 542 Newton-meters of torque.

The all-new exterior features a unique trapezoidal grille with bright surround, flaked by HID headlamps. The trademark Mustang three-bar light is echoed in the front clearance lamps. The front sport seats are embossed with a 50 Year logo. The seat and door trim stitches use cashmere for a distinctive touch. The instrument panel has a 50 Year badge, matching with the 50 Year gas cap badge on the trunk lid. The Y-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels are another feature exclusive to the 64 units, done in nickel-plated aluminum.

“The iconic Mustang continues to attract customers, who are eager to take it for a spin. With the 50 Years Limited Edition all-new Mustang, our customers will get to experience the Mustang on a whole new level. It’s an instantly classic car that is completely new,” said Kay Hart, Ford Philippines director.

“From the way it looks, moves and sounds, driving a Mustang is a visceral experience unlike any other, and we make sure that all our customers feel it every time from the moment they step inside behind the wheel,” she added.

The new Mustang’s suspension departs from the model’s tradition in a positive way, gaining independent rear suspension in place of the solid axle. The new suspension should lend a more sophisticated driving experience as well as more comfortable ride for the sports car’s fortunate occupants.

While the all-new Mustang 50 Years Limited Edition was announced in only two colors for the American market, the Philippines will have more choices. The car will be available in Oxford white, race red, black, triple yellow, competition orange and magnetic metallic.

Matching the aggressive looks and specifications of the Mustang is an aggressive price: P3.099 million for a very well-equipped sports car. The new Mustang is already available for
