BMW Asia has launched the all-new 7 Series luxury sedan in Singapore. The new 7 Series seeks to redefine its segment by incorporating new features and performance technology.

The new 7 Series looks deceptively compact despite its immense interior room and trunk space. The 7 Seris exterior features a huge version of the brand’s twin-kidney grille, now able to close its vents for reduced drag. Available laser lighting can extend a light beam double that of standard LED headlamps. BMW’s Carbon Core technology incorporates carbon fiber for parts of the chassis, for lighter weight while increasing body rigidty

Inside, the new BMW 7 Series features gesture control, which allows the driver or front passenger to wave his hand in mid-air to control audio volume, or respond to a phone call. The front passenger seat can fold forward to provide extra legroom for the rear passenger.

A display key allows remote control of the car for parking, setting of temperature, or to check the car’s fuel and range status.

The 740Li features a 3.0-liter inline-six engine with 326hp and 450Nm, while the 750i is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 with 450hp and 650Nm.

The new 7 Series will be launched in the Philippines in the first quarter of 2016.
