AVID welcomes Suzuki PH

THE ASSOCIATION of Vehicle Importers and Distributors (AVID), a nonprofit business association of automotive importers and distributors founded in July 2010, welcomed Suzuki Philippines Inc., the exclusive distributor of Suzuki vehicles in the country, as an official Avid member last July 23.

Avid’s core mission is to promote the competitiveness of the Philippine automotive industry through four areas of engagement: strategic policy thinking, communications and advocacy, knowledge capital-building, and partnership strengthening.

With Suzuki as its newest member, Avid now has 17 member companies representing 24 globally-renowned brands.

This freshly expanded membership will enhance Avid’s ability to carry out its advocacy for a fair and equitable playing field, consumer-centric public policy, and an innovation-driven environment for the automotive industry.

SPH recently inaugurated three dealerships and held a groundbreaking ceremony of another outlet in four key cities in Luzon, to continue to bring Suzuki to more Filipinos nationwide.

Inspired by the positive response of consumers to its current crop of vehicles available in the market, the only integrated motorcycle and automobile company in the country opened several branches one after another, to make its great-value, high-quality, fuel-efficient automobiles and top-quality customer service more easily accessible to its target market.

As a result, customers may now see and test drive their desired Suzuki automobiles, as well as buy parts and avail of services right in their area.
