Foton’s Toana is a practical alternative for corporate shuttle needs

The Toano combines elegant and expansive interiors with a reliable and powerful Euro IV-compliant turbo diesel engine.

United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI), the exclusive distributor of Foton vehicles in the Philippines, introduced its Toano van last year at the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).

Since then, the Toano has become an alternative choice for businesses looking for an affordable shuttle van.

Foton claims the Toano was especially designed by the original Mercedes-Benz Sprinter car design team based in Stuttgart, Germany.

The Toano combines elegant and expansive interiors matched with a reliable and powerful Euro IV-compliant Cummins 2.8-liter ISF CRDi turbo diesel engine with an output of 160 hp and 360 Nm of torque to ably transport its passengers with comfort and ease.

With ample and comfortable seating layout design for 15 passengers, its high ceiling allows freedom of movement inside the vehicle, while its long 3.75-meter wheelbase gives a stately and relaxing cabin for short- and long-haul trips.

When inside the Toano, one can enjoy an airy and comfortable space especially with its Executive series variant.

With a nautical theme, the 11-seater Executive variant is equipped with captain seats, a large LED TV and audio/visual suite, luxuriously light-colored fabrics, remote control power windows, and ambient lighting.

For ease of boarding, it features an automatic electronic step board.

It is also equipped with safety features like ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution, dual front airbags, reverse camera, and sensors.
Available in Aurora White, Metallic Silver and Amber Bronze, the Toana’s price starts at P1.688 million, and comes with a five year/150,000 km warranty.
