The whole family of BMW vehicles will be on display.

Car enthusiasts of all ages, particularly those with a fondness for the best German steel, can enjoy a unique experience this weekend at the BMW Xpo 2017.

Asian Carmakers Corporation (ACC), the official importer and distributor of BMW in the Philippines, will open BMW Xpo on Sept. 15 to 17 at the BMW Pavilion, 9th Avenue corner 30th Street, Bonifacio Global City (BGC).

Those looking for something to buy before the infamous excise tax increase kicks in, will find a wide selection of BMW automobiles at the expo.

“BMW has consistently led unique and exciting customer experiences, pushing boundaries through daring and visionary creations that do not compromise the ultimate goal: sheer driving pleasure.

“This event demonstrates our dedication to delivering premium mobility that allows us to be the pioneer of joy,” said ACC president Maricar Parco.

“There’s no better way to share our journey and vision than through the BMW Xpo 2017, with no less than our customers and industry partners,” she added.

The annual BMW Xpo takes as its theme this year, “Experience Sheer Driving Pleasure,” in line with the brand’s promise to deliver that joy of driving.

The Xpo will have three main exhibitions, taking as their inspiration these qualities of mobility: visionary, precious and thrilling.

Visionary

BMW has been pushing the boundaries of motoring with its innovative approach.

Although its electric and hybrid vehicles are still on the horizon, BMW has on offer its latest in the conventional combustion-powered vehicles.

This is highlighted by the all-new BMW 5 Series with its more luxurious features.

BMW will also show its concepts for future mobility. An augmented reality experience with the Vision Next 100 Concept Car and BMW 5 Series will be available through the BMW Vision Gate.

Precious

Aside from the dynamic driving experience, BMWs are known for their luxurious accouterments, from seat and interior trim, to the entertainment system.

The height of luxury in the lineup is the BMW 7 Series. The 7 Series uses lightweight technology in its chassis, and feature convenience features that you wouldn’t have expected, like gesture control and individualized cabin scents.

Complementing the 7 Series and other luxury cars will be accessories and apparel items from Hugo Boss.

Young BMW fans can participate in the Junior Driver’s Course and Kiddie Dome.

Family members can join the arts and crafts activities in this area.

Thrilling

It wouldn’t be BMW without some exciting cars on display, and centered here is the performance division, M. M is the most powerful letter in BMW’s alphabet.

The experience begins with the thrilling new M2, the new compact performance coupe.

There’s also the BMW M4 enhanced with the Competition Package, and other vehicles in the exclusive M Sport trim.

Guests can also create their own BMW M Statement image at the Xpo.

Two-wheel thrills will be part of the BMW Motorrad exhibit. BMW Motorrad will display the Heritage Line, including the pure riding machine BMW R nineT.

The Adventure and Sport Line motorcycles will also be on hand.

Best time to buy

The best time to buy a premium car is now, what with the impending excise tax increase.

Buyers will be able to test-drive the latest BMW vehicles at the Xpo.

There will also be a wide range of certified pre-owned vehicles, or the BMW Premium Selection, at special prices.

During the three-day event, limited offers on all brand- new BMW vehicles will be available, as will exclusive raffle prizes.

“With all of these thrilling activities and world-class display of premium automobiles, the BMW Xpo 2017 represents our strengthened commitment to delivering Sheer Driving Pleasure today and the years to come,” concluded Parco.
