The Juke-R is Nissan’s effort to help justify the existence of the GT-R platform. If one could call a 478-bhp, 588Nm compact crossover anything other than insane. It’s an excellent kind of insane, though, as a new shakedown video shows. The short clip sees the engineers take Juke-R to the MIRA proving ground in the U.K. to “check all systems work correctly,” then pound the beastly crossover to Silverstone. As Nissan says, it looks like a Juke but sounds like a GT-R. And it seems that it drives like a GT-R, too.
If we were Sebastian Vettel, instead of the Infiniti FX, this would be the one we would choose.
