The summer season may be over, but the streets are just starting to heat up as Nissan Motor Philippines, Inc. (NMPI) announced that the Grand Livina Highway Star will be available at all Nissan dealerships nationwide starting this weekend.
Now even made stylish, the Grand Livina Highway Star carries performance parts by Autech Japan, a group under the umbrella of Nissan Motor Ltd. that is famous for its various customized vehicle. This is the same group that teams up with NISMO for some of its racing cars.
The Grand Livina Highway Star is NMPI’s offering for those who longs for a trendy and stylish sedan, but at the same time needs the space and accommodation of a multi-purpose vehicle.
As the perfect urban car, the Grand Livina Highway Star is built with a more aggressive exterior featuring chrome grille with horizontal elements and bumper fascia with integrated air splitters. It now sports side mirror cover with LED turning lamps, foglamp chrome garnish, OEM side skirt, rear skirt and roof spoiler. Top that off with 15” polished alloy wheels with gunmetal accents, and you’re ready to turn the city streets into your own virtual playground.
Sporty and modern, the Grand Livina Highway Star lets you roam the streets seamlessly as it still provides the same dynamic handling and performance without compromising functionality and flexibility. It is fitted with Nissan’s new generation gasoline engine, MR18DE 1.8L fuel injected power plant producing 125bhp/5,200 rpm and 175Nm/4,800 rpm maximum torque. The CVTC (continuously variable valve-timing control) keeps fuel economy at its peak while producing power and optimal acceleration. Ride stability is delivered by the MacPherson struts up front with a torsion beam rear axle uses ripple shock absorbers. What’s more, this stylish urban ride is packed with safety features including Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, zone body construction and supplemental system airbags.
The Highway Star Luxury is priced at P928,000 while the Highway Star Elegance is at P1,008,000.
