Peugeot Philippines opens first dealerships, in Las Pinas and Cagayan de Oro
Here’s news from Peugeot: Following the launch of the marque in the Philippines on 16 October last year, Eurobrand Distributors Inc, the Peugeot importer in the archipelago, is keeping to its commitments with the opening on 27 February 2013 of the first two dealers in the country, Peugeot Las Pinas and Cagayan de Oro. EDI will build a network of 12 selling dealers in 2013, by opening 1 dealer a month. Peugeot’s objective is to achieve a market share of 5% in 5 years.
Grégoire Olivier, Director for Asia at the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group and Johnny Hernandez President of EDI, will be on-site to officially open these first two dealerships. These first two dealers in the country will sell the four models planned for the launch of the marque: the 3008 crossover, the 5008 compact MPV, the 508 top of the range saloon and the RCZ in the 1.6 petrol version with automatic transmission.
New Peugeot dealers will be opened progressively in the months to come, so as to cover the whole country: Manila, Cebu, Pasay, Batangas, Marikina, Cabanatuan, C5 Pasig, Bacolod, North EDSA and Davao City.
At the time of the signing of the partnership agreement with Peugeot, EDI committed to promoting the image of the Peugeot marque with a top-of-the-range product positioning, as well as offering future customers an after sales service in line with the marque’s highest international standards.
