Jenson Button may have missed out on winning the Belgian Grand Prix, but he doesn’t seem too sad. For one, Jessica is back. Second, he has this car in his garage. Naturally, it’s a Mercedes, and of course, it’s a fast one. It’s not the one you might think, though—it’s actually a wagon.
Called the C-Class DR 520 Estate, the car was fitted out by the Specialist Products Division at Mercedes-Benz World. Mercedes-Benz World is the theme park-museum-corporate center located at the famous Brooklands circuit near London. The DR stands for Dyno Rated at 520 bhp. That’s 60 bhp more than the standard C 63 AMG. 0-100km/h time is somewhat slower than Jenson’s weekend car, at 4.2 seconds, and top speed is „only“ 300 km/h.
Retail price is, for those of us who don’t drive an F1 car for McLaren Mercedes, £63,680 (about P4.42 million).
The only question now is, which will be out of Jenson’s garage more often: the SLS AMG, or the MP4-12C?
