Here’s news from Manila Auto Salon: Manila’s premiere styling and tuning show, the 6th Manila Auto Salon opens its gates again on November 29 to December 2, 2012 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia in Pasay City. It is a not only a show for the car crazy but also a reunion of the industry’s best aftermarket players.
Every year the Manila Auto Salon brings out the best and the brightest in the car tuning scene in the country. Many of the participants actually worked their way up winning at the smaller events like parking lot shows and mall competitions. After each win, the car owners gain more confidence and prestige to finally make it to the pinnacle of the styling and tuning world—the MANILA AUTO SALON. Competitors know that from where they are now, the show is their next and final big step.
“We have the most fun in your shows,” comments Sam Liuson, better known as the “godfather” of the “Aftermarket Mafia” on the Manila Auto Salon Facebook page. “It’s an industry reunion each time.”
The reunion begins with the likes of A-toy’s Body Kits, AutoLine, Concept One, Jeff’s Off-Road Shop, Speedlab, Starbright Body Kits, FM Garage, JWorks Unlimited, Hotwheels, JSK, Autoline, 199 Off Road House, Dr G’s Car Clinic, ALX Customwerks, and many others coming together with the young and budding auto accessories entrepreneurs.
Autoline’s accessories guru Alexander Ong, in a Facebook comments encapsulates what the show is all about. “(Manila Auto Salon) still and always will be one of Asia’s top aftermarket car shows. Alex, who has been a mainstay in the automotive accessories in the country carrying performance brands like Tein, HKS, Rays Engineering continues, “it is one of the best car shows in the world where true Filipino ingenuity and creativity is showcased.
Autoline is a consistent winner in the Manila Auto Salon and Mr. Ong caps his message by saying that the show has guided the aftermarket industry to where it is now. “Guiding a lot of aftermarket car shops pushing them to the edge of their limits propelling them unknowingly to success in their chosen niche market. Then representing the automotive aftermarket shops thanks the Manila Auto Salon from the “bottom of his heart.”
He then sends an invitation and challenge his fellow participants and competitors. “See you all at the 2012 Manila Auto Salon Asia’s best competition aftermarket car show!”
“2012 marks a different year for the Manila Auto Salon as we expect to shore up a more intense competition” observes Sophie de los Santos, President of Tradeshow International. “We have been receiving word of the kinds of cars being set-up and the excitement is building up tremendously. This is why the Manila Auto Salon never ceases to wow the crowd.”
“Every year there is something new to see or an event to experience. This has brought in sponsors every year which is good for the industry and for the market. They come back because they know that brand recall is so very important—something that can only be done when you unite the brand with the consumer.”
