Mitoy Yonting wins a Ford Focus on “The Voice of the Philippines”
Mitoy Yonting is now the proud owner of a brand-new Ford Focus. Mitoy was declared winner of the first season of the ABS-CBN talent search “The Voice of the Philippines” Sunday night, beating Klarisse de Guzman, Myk Perez and Janice Javier in a star-studded finale which was aired live from the Newport Performing Arts Theater in ResortsWorld Manila, Pasay City.
Ford Philippines has been a sponsor of the show. Ford says they wished to highlight the class-leading smart technologies available in the all-new Ford Focus and integrate them seamlessly into key elements of the show.
Mitoy, 43, was coached by multi-awarded Broadway star Lea Salonga.
He won a cash prize of P2 million, an Asian tour package for two, a new Ford Focus, and a four-year recording contract with MCA Universal.
