Shell powers emerging Philippine auto leader Hyundai

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (Hari) recently sealed an exclusive agreement tapping Shell to supply Hyundai Genuine Motor Oils Semi-Synthetic and Mineral oil variants at all Hyundai dealerships nationwide.

Hyundai—one of Shell’s global key accounts for commercial lubricants—was established in 2001 with only four dealerships carrying a single product line.

Today, Hari boasts of a nationwide network of 41 dealerships and a strong portfolio of innovative vehicle offerings, all of which have propelled it to become the third top-ranking automotive brand in the Philippines.

Shell, as a global leader in power, energy and gas technology, shares Hyundai’s pacesetting passion to develop innovative mobility solutions while addressing present-day environmental concerns.
