Ford introduced its Ka Concept, for a vehicle positioned below the Fiesta B-segment. The car was shown in Brazil by Bill Ford, signifying that it is meant to be introduced to developing markets. Ford said that the segment will show a growth of 35 percent from 2012 to 2017.
The Ka will have seating for five, best-in-class airconditioning, and a dock for mobile phones with Ford Sync technology. Styling wise, it follows the family cues including trapezoidal front grille, multiple surface lines, rising roofline, and large taillamps.
Ford Brazil also developed the EcoSport B-segment SUV, now introduced in many markets including ASEAN.
