Of the 587 fatalities resulting from vehicular accidents in Metro Manila in 2012, about a third or 184 were due to motorcycle road crashes, according to recent data from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s Road Safety Unit. -Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
