Inquirer Motoring awarded ‘Best Motoring Section’ at Henry Ford Awards
Philippine Daily Inquirer’s motoring section, which has motioncars.inquirer.net as its online counterpart, was awarded Best Motoring Section at the 2013 Henry Ford Awards. The annual award is organized by Ford Philippines as recognition for the best contributions to the motoring writing, photography and videography fields. The most anticipated award was judged on content, relevance, consistency, and layout quality. All national broadsheet automotive sections are automatically included in the competition.
Jong Arcano, Editor of Philippine Daily Inquirer, together with most of the motioncars-Inquirer team, was on hand to receive the award from Ford Philippines managing director Kay Hart.
This is the 13th edition of the Henry Ford Awards. It is designed to stand for excellence in both reporting and driving the automotive revolution in print, broadcast and online media. Automotive and non-automotive journalists submitted a total of 122 entries this year.
