EDSA road works may cause heavy traffic during weekend

Watch out for heavy traffic on EDSA this weekend as the infamous ‘reblocking’ resumes on some portions of the road.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that the Department of Public Works and Highways will be performing road repairs and reblocking. The repairs will be done on February 28, 10 p.m. to March 3 5 a.m. Affected areas are:
1. Between Magsaysay St. and New York St. (1st lane, Southbound), Quezon City
2. Between Pantaleon St. and Mayon St. (Outer lane, Southbound), Mandaluyong City
3. Between Don Ang St. and Evangelista St./Arellano St. and Concepcion St. (1st lane, Northbound), Caloocan City
The roads should be fully passable after 5 a.m. Monday morning.
