BMW is fielding its new M4 Coupe as the official safety car of the MotoGP World Championship. This is the 16th year that BMW M is part of the MotoGP. With 18 races on the calendar, the M4 will be kept busy throughout the year. 2014 is the first year that the M4 will be used as the Safety Car. The car will be loaded with M performance accessories. With six-cylinder turbo power, the M4 will be keeping its speed up on the circuit. The M3 and M4 also featured reduced weight and tires that have been tested on thousands of Nurburgring Nordschliefe laps.
