Recognized as the ultimate in luxury cars, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will be exhibiting a very special automobile at the 10th Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). The Rolls-Royce stand at the main event hall will showcase the Wraith coupe. This marks the public debut of the most powerful model in the British brand’s lineup.
Wraith is a two-door fastback coupe. Given its large footprint, it’s entirely approporiate that the car can seat four in supreme comfort. Hand-built at the company’s factory in Goodwood, England, the Wraith embodies the attributes of power, style, and drama.
Not many two-door automobiles can manage to be both massive and sleek, but the Wraith manages both without seeming to try. The shape promises fast, effortless touring, with the fastback design evoking a younger, more mobile mindset than the marque’s traditional four-doors. Every possible interior detail can be specified, with the future owners flying to England to select materials and colors for their bespoke automobile. Delivery is done not by cargo ship but via airplane.
A two-door fastback with ample seating for four passengers, this hand-built motor car exudes hallmark Rolls-Royce luxury and comfort whilst possessing a character defined by Power, Style and Drama. Drama is indeed standard, with the rear-hinged doors electronically operated.
The Wraith is a Rolls-Royce that staggers the imagination. Its 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 generates a more than adequate 624 hp, whisper quiet even at full throttle.
The Wraith by design should bring to Rolls-Royce customers something they’ve never seen before. Torsten Müller-Ötvös, the CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, calls the Wraith “the ultimate gentleman’s gran turismo.” Indeed, it can hurtle to 100kph in a tick over 4.4 seconds, on to a top speed of 250 kph.
Rolls-Royce motored into Manila last year, at last bringing one of the most coveted brands into the country. Its presence at MIAS signifies its continued commitment to the market.
For the first time, Rolls-Royce invites car lovers to experience Wraith at the Manila International Auto Show.
