President Benigno Aquino III warmly welcomed Mr. Osamu Masuko president of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC Japan) during his recent courtesy call at the Malacañang Palace. Together with Mr. Masuko were Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) President and CEO Mr. Hikosaburo Shibata and other MMC and MMPC executives. Mr. Masuko explained to President Benigno Aquino III the plan of MMPC to enhance MMPC production capability by purchasing the closed plant of Ford Motor Company Philippines. This is to support the expected increase in vehicle demand in the coming years.
