Here’s an invitation from the BMW Car Club of the Philippines: It’s the peak of summer 2014 and for motorsport fans this would be time for a multitude of car and motorbike shows across the country. This is more so evident in a bustling metropolis as Metro Manila. During the month of May however, something different and special do occur as the only all-BMW show and shine event will be holding its 11th year. This year’s event is a celebration of all things BMW and is dubbed Bimmerfest XI.Bimmerfest XI will be held May 17, 2014, Saturday at the parking grounds of Molito in Alabang, Muntinlupa City from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The event is being organized by the BMW Car Club of the Philippines (BMWCCP), the only BMW car club recognized by the International Council of BMW Clubs, under the Asia Clubs Council and BMW AG in the Philippines. This is an opportunity for all club members and friends to be able to display their beloved rides at a premiere venue; promoting and bringing support to the essence of BMW. Bimmerfest XI brings several attractions on that momentous day. First is the car exhibition that will boast of various BMW car model type coming from different model years. The best of the best automobile on display will vie for honors in this year’s event.
Bimmerfest XI will also be a joint presentation of the BMWCCP with the BMW Owners Society of Saferiders or BOSS, the Philippine’s motorrad club also recognized by BMW. During the day, the latest and greatest motorcycles from BMW will be on display to showcase their beauty and advance technology. Third is the opportunity for everyone to appreciate the latest models released in the country by Asian Carmakers Corporation, the importer and representative of BMW AG. What more is the chance to test drive and maybe even acquire a new BMW vehicle thru BMW Autozentrum, the BMW dealership located in Molito – Alabang.
Finally as the group fosters camaraderie of fellow BMW enthusiasts, this year will see exhibits from other BMW groups around the metropolis. As with the previous Bimmerfest, there will be other activities packed into this event like concerts, tech talks by sponsors and a small, friendly competition for the avid BMWCCP members. Up for grabs are recognition awards and prizes for the different contest categories which is definitely appreciated by the participants.
