Makati closes some CBD roads for World Economic Forum

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced traffic rerouting in Makati City the World Economic Forum (WEF). Affected are sections of the Makati business district, particularly Ayala Avenue between Makati Avenue and Paseo de Roxas, and also within the Glorietta commercial complex. The road closure and re-routing will be in effect on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

 

MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino has also advised motorists to avoid if possible the “the area around PICC on Thursday (May 22), particularly Gil Puyat Avenue and Roxas Boulevard between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and give way to the (WEF) delegates.”
