Honda Cars Philippines has revealed the first photos and pricing of the all-new Jazz hatchback. Now slotting in the compact class, Honda is aiming to make the car the “world’s best functional compact.” The new Jazz is now longer, both overall and in wheelbase, than the previous model. Length is 3955mm (55 mm longer than previous Jazz), 1695mm wide and 1525 mm tall. Wheelbase grows 30mm to 2530mm.
Interior features touchscreen and the versatile Ultra seat, with many folding and stowaway modes to accommodate different types of cargo. Power is by 1.5-liter iVTEC, with 119hp output. Transmission choices are five-speed manual and CVT. The ECON mode button is present, which modifies engine and aircon function to favor fuel efficiency.
Jazz is equipped with ABS brakes with Electronic brake-force distribution; and dual front, side and curtain airbags for the top variant. Available safety features are: rear view camera, emergency stop signal, hill start assist, and vehicle stability assist.
