Chevrolet takes lead role in ‘Transformers’ season

June 24,2014

It’s the season for “Transformers,” and the Chevrolet brand comes to mind.

“Transformers: Age of Extinction,” the fourth installment of the hit movie series, features the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray playing the role of the mean, green, fighting machine Crosshair.

Bumble Bee takes the usual starring role as the iconic Chevrolet Camaro remains the well-loved Autobot that displays compassion for the human race and the bravery of a true Autobot warrior. Bumble Bee initially takes form as a vintage 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS that eventually evolves to a Camaro concept car.

The Chevrolet Trax and Sonic, on the other hand, are  featured in the movie as Autobot vehicles that zoom through action-packed scenes.

Meanwhile, Chevrolet Philippines is making the  subcompact Sonic more affordable with the “Transform Your Everyday All-in Low Down Payment” promo in partnership with BPI Family Savings Bank and PBCom, for as low as P78,000 all-in down payment. The promo includes free chattel mortgage, three-year LTO registration and one-year comprehensive insurance. To make the deal even more exciting, the Chevrolet Sonic hatchback LTZ variants now come with a Chevrolet MyLink, a touchscreen infotainment system. The Sonic hatchback LTZ variant is on offer for just P98,000 down payment.

New Sonic owners are assured of a worry-free ownership experience as units carry a five-year warranty with free three-year 24/7 roadside assistance nationwide.

Chevrolet invites everyone to visit its “Transformers” booth display on the following dates and venues: SM Mall of Asia on June 19-25 and SM Megamall on June 27-July 3.

Games, prizes and a “Transformers”-inspired photo booth are in-store for booth visitors. A Bumble Bee cosplayer will also be available for photo opportunities.
