Motor Image Pilipinas Inc., Subaru distributor in the Philippines, will be holding its Tanabata Festival, running on its second year, at all Subaru Showrooms nationwide from July 18 to July 20, 2014.
The Tanabata Festival or “Meeting of the Seventh” is a Japanese star festival, originating from the Chinese Qixi Festival. It celebrates the meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi (represented by the stars Vega and Altair respectively). According to the legend, the Milky Way separates these lovers, and they are allowed to meet only once a year on the seventh lunar month of the lunisolar calendar.
“The Tanabata Festival is to show our appreciation to our customers for their continuous support to the Subaru brand. Our business has been continuously growing for the past two years. With this, we were able to end 2013 with a record breaking performance ever since Motor Image Pilipinas started its operations in the Philippines. Without the help of our customers, this wouldn’t have been possible. We are continuously building on this momentum to grow our presence in key cities, to reach our Subaru fans, and will continue our efforts to make sure that we give excellent customer service,” according to MIPI General Manager Mike Luyun.
During this 3 day affair, customers who will drop by Subaru showrooms nationwide can expect to receive once in a blue moon special offers and financing schemes on all models offered through our bank partners. In addition, to get customers into the festive mood, certain showrooms will be decorated to pattern the festival in Japan with several food carts present at each showroom offering free authentic Japanese dishes.
Wish upon the stars, and it will come true at Subaru’s Tanabata Festival. This is the rare chance for customers to find and own the perfect Subaru they have been dreaming about. Interested customers may visit the Greenhills, Global City, Manila Bay, Alabang, Batangas, Cebu, Davao and CDO showrooms on July 18 to July 20, 2014 from 9 AM to 8 PM.
