The alleged gunman in the murder of race car driver and motorsports proponent Ferdinand ‘Enzo’ Pastor, Police Officer 2 Edgar Angel, recanted on Monday his earlier statement that he killed the racecar driver, saying he was just a fall guy.
In his counter-affidavit submitted to the Department of Justice, Angel claimed that members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group unit threatened him that all the unsolved crimes in Quezon City will be heaped on him if he would not cooperate.
“Kulang na lang sabihin nila na ako ang pumatay kay Magellan,” Angel said.
