Mitsubishi PH bares lineup for PIMS5

MANILA, Philippines–Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) will showcase a grand display of its newest models and concept vehicles at the 5th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) from Sept. 18 to 21 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

 

Not only car fanatics but the whole family are sure to enjoy MMPC’s booth since they will have the chance to see Mitsubishi concept vehicles first seen at prestigious international motor shows such as the Geneva Motor Show and Tokyo Motor Show.

 

MMPC flew in these concept vehicles including the actual Pajero Dakar Rally car to give the public a true feel of attending an international motor show. Aside from the exciting displays, MMPC will also be offering test drives of the 2015 ASX, Mirage, Mirage G4, Montero Sport and the world’s first plug-in hybrid electric SUV, the Outlander PHEV, in this four-day event. Exciting activities, freebies and exclusive discounts are also up for grabs during the event. MMPC will launch the Mirage Eco Dash game wherein PIMS visitors will be given the chance to play on-site and win exciting prizes. A lot of cool raffle prizes will be at stake for those who will visit MMPC’s pavilion.

 

The Mitsubishi display lineup includes the following:

 

Mitsubishi Motors Concept GR HEV. The Mitsubishi Concept GR-HEV is a sport utility truck concept that brings about further enhancement in environmental and driving performance. Its development was based on the combination of sedan- or SUV-like comfort with the functionality of a pickup truck.

 

Mitsubishi Motors Concept CA MiEV. The Mitsubishi Concept CA MiEV is based on the world’s first mass-produced electric vehicle, the i-MiEV. The Concept CA MiEV flaunts a sophisticated and at the same time sporty exterior styling. The high-efficiency EV system brings together lightweight EV components in an integrated motor, inverter and charger module that reduces power losses. It also incorporates a full-time regenerative braking system that improves energy recovery rate, as well as a magnetic resonance wireless charging device that enables convenient charging. The Mitsubishi Concept CA MiEV will be displayed at the technology booth.

 

2002 Pajero Dakar Rally Car. This is the same Pajero that champion Japanese rally driver Hiroshi Masuoka drove to victory in the 2002 Dakar Rally. This vehicle was entered in the then newly created Super Production class. The 2002 Pajero rally car has proven its toughness and glorious heritage in the 2002 Arras-Madrid-Dakar, running for 17 days.

 

All-new Outlander. The all-new Outlander that will be given a sneak preview boasts a harmonious balance of high levels of safety, high fuel-efficiency and an extended utility. Both the exterior and interior styling were designed to communicate a refined and sophisticated appearance, at the same time taking into consideration the vehicle’s functionality, and a pleasurable ride with a comfortable driving and riding experience. The Outlander’s world-class engineering and technology aim to provide premium driving experience.

 

Other models. An exhibit of MMPC’s best-selling models such as the 2015 ASX, Montero Sport, 2015 Pajero, 2015 Mirage (hatchback), Mirage G4 and Lancer EX will also be at the MMPC booth. To make them more exciting, these latest models will be accessorized. MMPC will also be displaying the latest FUSO truck and bus models at the FUSO Tent outside.

 

MMPC will be offering special deals to buyers during the PIMS event. MMPC will provide P5,000 additional savings to be applied on all purchases or reservations made on Sept. 18-21. This additional savings of P5,000 will not only be provided to PIMS visitors but also to all buyers who will visit and place a reservation for any Mitsubishi vehicle (except Mirage G4 GX and GLX MT) at any Mitsubishi Motors dealership nationwide during PIMS week. Once a reservation is made, the buyer can avail of the additional discount until the end of this year.

 

In addition, PIMS visitors who will avail of the test-drive can also get another P5,000 coupon, which can be applied together with the PIMS blowout reservation incentive for a total of P10,000 additional savings.
