Hyundai Lateral Drift 2014 Round 4 on September 21 at Megatent Libis

hyundai-driftCatch Round 4 of the Hyundai Lateral Drift on Sunday, September 21, at the Megatent in Libis. The organizers have moved the date due to the bad weather.

With three more rounds left to the Championship, following are the mid-season results for the Amateur Division: Kar Montaner (292 points) at 1st Place; Peter Scroth (280 points) at 2nd Place; Adrian Jonsay (266 points) at 3rd Place; Dan Javier (207 points) at 4th Place; John Lazaga (200 points) at 5th place; Alex Nunez (195 points) at 6th place; and Peter Seo (174 points) at 7th place.

In the Pro Division, defending champ Gio Rodriguez leads with 234 points, closely followed by John Raphel Boban (224 points) at 2nd Place; Alex N. Perez (207 points) at 3rd Place; Ralph Tan (200 points) at 4th Place; Boodie Dabasol (192 points) at 5th place; Radrich Albano (183 points) at 6th place; and David Murphy Feliciano and Audel Sison (176 points) who tied at 7th place.

Scheduled to inaugurate the new Tarlac race circuit, the drift event was postponed to a later date, when the track will be fully operational.

In the meantime, fans will have another heyday at the Megatent watching 30 top Filipino drifters battling it out for the top slots. Plus, lucky spectators can get a chance of a lifetime to ride shotgun in the 2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe with Japanese Judges Hiromi Kajikuma, and Kimihiro Obata.

Gates open at 9 AM. Admission and parking are free.
