Peugeot displays 508 HYbrid4 at Philippine International Motor Show
Eurobrands Distributor Inc. (EDI), official importer and distributor of Peugeot vehicles in the country, joined the 5th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). EDI has taken to heart the show’s theme, Progress In Motion, and specifically focused on highlighting the advancements in Peugeot’s product offerings.
Peugeot’s highlight car – though not one EDI plans to bring in for retail sales – is a strong statement of just how advanced Peugeot is in terms of diesel technology development. The Peugeot 508 HYbrid4 combines Peugeot’s already efficient diesel combustion engine with an electric motor to deliver amazing emission and mileage numbers. Thanks to an improved software management system, the 508 HYbrid4 reduces CO2 emissions to a very low 85g/km while the car’s mileage number is an astounding 30.6km/l. Joining the 508 HYbrid4 in the Peugeot display at the 5th PIMS are the 3008 Crossover, the 5008 Compact MPV, the 508 Executive Sedan, the Expert Tepee Family Van and the RCZ Sports Car.
In line with the display of Peugeot’s full model line-up, EDI staged Motion & Emotion, The Peugeot Fashion Experience wherein renowned Filipino designer Rocky Gathercole, who has designed clothes for the likes of international pop stars Katy Perry and Beyonce, interpreted through his designs the Peugeot vehicles on display. Peugeot’s vehicle offerings exude a uniquely French touch – distinct, striking and prominent, making the fashion show an apt jump off point for the European marquee’s premium product line.
