Ford has shown the next-generation Everest in lightly-disguised concept form in various events and auto shows, including Sydney in 2013, and Bangkok and Beijing 2014. The launch of the new car is imminent, and Ford has just released a teaser video for the new SUV.
Like its predecessors, the all-new Everest will be a mid-size seven-seat SUV. It features sleeker styling that’s gives it a more than passing resemblance to the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Up front are the familiar Ford angular headlamps and three-bar grille. The new Everest was designed in Australia and will be assembled in Thailand.
Ford says that the new rugged yet refined Everest is the product of five years of design and development, involving 4500 man-hours of work.
