The Mazda2 will debut at the Thailand International Motor Expo next week. Mazda2 follows the CX-5, Mazda6, and Mazda3 in carrying the company’s Skyactiv fuel-efficiency technology that includes high-compression gasoline engines, and the Kodo-Soul of Motion design theme. The model was awarded Japan’s Car of the Year in October.

Mazda2 is the brand’s best-selling model in Thailand, with 120,000 units sold since the model debuted in January 2010. The new car will join Thailand’s Eco-Car program, which already includes the Mitsubishi Mirage and Honda Brio.
