Aside from the all-new Alphard MPV, Toyota Motor Philippines launched the new Prius C hybrid hatchback. The facelifted Prius C features a “fresher and younger” look courtesy of a new bumper and front fascia. The interior has also been revamped for a more youthful look. Safety has been improved with vehicle stability control and traction control. Emergency Brake Signal flashes the LED brake lights rapidly during extreme braking.
The hybrid Prius C carries the 1.5-liter gasoline Atkinson cycle engine certified for Euro V emissions (versus local Euro 2 requirements) paired with an electric motor. The Prius C comes in silver metallic, yellow mica metallic, cool soda metallic, and orange pearl. Prices are:
