In the latest grave accident involving buses, a passenger bus collided with and then flattened a vehicle along the northbound lane of Edsa in Quezon City, Radyo Inquirer 990AM reported on Thursday.
The report said the Dela Rosa Transit bus hit and almost flattened a gray Toyota Vios. The Vios’ safety features seem to have functioned properly, as its driver was able to survive despite the car being almost completely destroyed.
The driver of the bus escaped, while the driver of the private vehicle was rescued and was brought to a nearby hospital after being trapped inside his car for a few minutes. KS
