Superlatives are nothing new to big-spending Dubai: the world’s tallest building, indoor skiing in 40-degree exterior temperature, and artificial islands shaped like a palm tree, for example. That spirit of excess extends to its police force, specifically its patrol cars. Dubai’s fleet of police cars are worthy of their own auto show. They include a McLaren MP4-12C, Nissan GT-R, Bentley Continental GT, Ferrari FF, Mercedes SLS, Mercedes G63, Audi 48 and a Bugatti Veyron. The choice of vehicles does make sense, as supercars are not unusual in the city, and the roads are long and straight.
