The Polo subcompact has been part of Volkswagen Philippines’ lineup from the company’s launch, but the question has always been raised: where’s the hatchback? And so VW PH has launched last night the VW Polo hatchback, at the introductory price of P950,000.
The VW Polo hatchback gets a 1.6-liter (non-turbo) gasoline engine good for 105ps and 153Nm. It’s mated to a six-speed automatic, channeling drive to the front wheels. Brakes are vented discs front / drums rear. Tires are 185/60 15.
Polo hatchback clocks in at a petite 3970mm length x 1682mm width x 1462 mm height, with a 2470mm wheelbase. The interior gets a leather flat-bottom steering wheel, Bluetooth audio head unit, and parking sensors.
VW is offering a financing package for the Polo hatchback with a P95,000 down payment scheme.
