How does the reigning Formula One world champion, Mercedes AMG Petronas F1, kick off its title defense? By introducing a new partner for the 2015 F1 season. Epson was last involved in F1 decades ago, and for 2015, the printing and imaging giant signed on to be a partner of the defending champions. Epson Global Brand & Marketing Communications General Manager Ian Cameron was present to formally announce their partnership with the team from Brackley.

Talking to the international media over breakfast, Toto Wolff, Nico Rosberg and Driver’s Champion Lewis Hamilton gamely took on questions. Asked if the team would still keep the policy of “open warfare” between its drivers, Toto, with a smile, replied positively.

Nico for his part, was confident of the advances made over the winter season break, and is hungrier than before for his first driver’s championship. Rosberg also acknowledges that while he has the edge over his team mate in qualifying, he has to get better results on race Sunday if he wants to stop Hamilton in getting his third driver’s crown.

Lewis likewise, was equally optimistic of his chances for this year. He, along with the rest the team, is keeping a close eye on the opposition, but confident of the job they have done. While the others are pushing hard to dethrone the Mercedes team, Hamilton believes they are the best at the moment. They will do everything to keep their titles.
