Chevrolet to introduce five new Trailblazer variants at MIAS
With the Trax, Chevrolet’s new subcompact crossover, expected to take center stage at the Chevy display in Thursday’s 2015 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), expect the American automaker to also dish out other exciting models, including five new and improved Trailblazer variants.
MIAS will run until April 12 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.
Chevrolet, through its official Philippine importer and distributor, The Covenant Car Co. Inc. (TCCCI), informed that the five new Trailblazer variants are meant to broaden the American brand’s market appeal.
Bannering these latest offering is the range-topping Trailblazer LTZ SE which sports a wrap-around body kit with LED daytime running lights as well as new interior trim.
According to TCCCI, the 2015 variants of the Trailblazer still deliver a rugged yet refined masculinity that is expected to stand above and beyond any other SUV in its segment.
Its athletic stance stands to dominate road and offroad trails while its modern style and sculpted design lines command the kind of respect and admiration that few in its class can even dream of.
Indeed, Trailblazer’s design philosophy combined with the contemporary, Chevrolet-signature dual-port grille and dramatic power dome hood, ensure that this SUV will project a sense of confidence and power on the road.
Drivers and passengers of these new variants are sure to discover a different side of the Trailblazer.
Chevrolet Philippines assures that it will be an enjoyable journey thanks to spacious interior with seating capacity for up to seven people.
Seated in three rows they will find all the accessories needed remain perfectly in reach.
Driving confidence is assured for all speeds—whether its a straight road or a curved one ahead, empty or fully loaded—as ride comfort is optimized, thanks to independent double wishbone suspension on the front and half-oval steel leaf springs on the rear, plus gas shock absorbers.
Here in the Philippines, the Trailblazer is powered by a new generation and highly efficient 2.8-liter “Duramax” turbo-diesel engine that delivers outstanding 200 horsepower and class-leading torque of 500 Newton-meters.
