The all-new Subaru Outback is a unique crossover concept that combines passenger-car comfort with the long-distance capabilities and load space of an SUV. While developing the latest generation Outback, Subaru has consistently sought to deliver a crossover with class leading performance, AWD handling capabilities and all round driver and passenger safety.

Subaru’s flagship model is powered by a redesigned six-cylinder boxer engine, giving drivers an enjoyable ride regardless of terrain. Enhanced technology in the 3.6L model’s Engine Control Unit (ECU) also further improve the vehicle’s environmental-friendly measures. The all-new Outback has a repositioned tumbler generation valve (TGV) and redesigned intake port shape to balance efficiency at throughout the rev range, improving both power and fuel economy.

The all-new Outback features a new distinct crossover look with a bold, rugged body shape, bigger tires and muscular fenders. Meticulously crafted, the expressive body panels accentuate the sense of quality and class to be expected from any Subaru.

As well as enhancements to the external look of the vehicle, reduction in wind resistance has been achieved by improving airflow over the rear of the body which also makes a major contribution to reduced fuel consumption at high speeds.

The elegant, top-grade interior includes dual-dial gauge cluster with a three-dimensional feel and a triple-spoke steering wheel with multifunction switches. Interior materials have been carefully selected to achieve a high level of quality befitting Subaru’s flagship crossover vehicle.

In order to improve comfort without compromising the handling, the body frame shape has been completely redesigned to improve the dynamic rigidity of the rear suspension and its mounting positions on the chassis.

In addition to Subaru’s unique Symmetrical AWD system, the new Outback is equipped with X-MODE, capable of enhancing driving performance on poor roads through optimized integrated control of engine, four-wheel drive, braking, and other functions on slippery surfaces.

Like every other Subaru vehicle, the Outback has gone through comprehensive testing that conforms to the highest safety levels of Subaru’s philosophy of ‘All-Around Safety’, which continues to win global accolades with superb Active and Passive safety systems.

The all-new Subaru Legacy features:

  • Premium driving performance powered by Subaru’s flagship boxer engine
  • New exterior design boasting a muscular and agile look
  • Improved Active and Passive safety systems

The Subaru Legacy will come in:

  •  2.5-liter, 4-cylinder, Boxer Engine
  •  3.6-liter, 6-cylinder, Boxer Engine

The new Legacy is the sixth generation model, 25 years on since its original release back in 1989. Like its predecessors, the new model succeeds in proving impressive performance, comfort and safety.

Propelled by Subaru’s signature boxer engine, mid-range torque was raised giving drivers a responsive ride that is also light and comfortable for everyday driving. Similarly with the all-new Outback, enhanced technology in the 3.6L model’s Engine Control Unit (ECU) also further improve the vehicle’s environmental-friendly measures. Significant tweaks in the intake, exhaust and combustion system have also improved the Legacy’s fuel economy.

The new model’s Lineartronic transmission features a redesigned torque converter, oil pump and forward-reverse mechanism to provide drivers with smoother shifting, better driveability and a quieter ride.

The new Legacy will sport a new dynamic look, with body-integrated hexagonal grille and hawk-eye headlights. Sharp contour lines throughout the body raise the class for the refined sport sedan.

Incorporating the spacious, functional cabin space that the Legacy is famous for, the new model also features a sporty, sophisticated interior and an infotainment system for a more enjoyable in-car experience. Silver highlights have also been added throughout the interior to give the new Legacy a more prestigious feel.

In addition to Subaru’s safety technology of Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, both the traditional active and passive safety performance have also been enhanced. All airbags have also been expanded and upgraded to give both the driver and passengers’ maximum safety.
