INTERNATIONAL tire manufacturer and automotive supplier Continental has started distribution of passenger car tires in the Philippine market.
Continental announced its partnership with Tiara Commercial and Industrial Corporation, a major player in tire distribution for more than 25 years in the Philippines, to distribute Continental premium tires.
As the official distributor for Continental tires in Philippines, Tiara will ensure the delivery and service of premium-class Continental products for compact and premium passenger cars.
Continental continuously contributes to enhance driving safety, riding comfort, and global climate protection by providing excellent products that are based on innovative tire technologies and the expertise of tires engineered in Germany since 1871.
The ContiComfortContact CC5, ContiMaxContact MC5, ContiSportContact 5 and 5P, ContiCrossContact LX2, and the Continental SSR technology are just a few of such innovations introduced by Continental recently.
All these technologically leading products can be purchased in Philippines through Tiara.
Continental tires took Asia by storm with the launch of the ContiComfortContact CC5 and the ContiMaxContact MC5. These tires have been designed and tested to especially suit Asian road conditions duly identifying the Asian market requirements and offering customers a complete range of tires that caters to the needs of the relevant market segments.
CC5 is equipped with optimized comfort, reduced noise, better fuel economy and improved safety; while the MC5 delivers the best balanced performance in both wet and dry handling and low noise.
The ContiSportContact 5 and 5P tires are designed for additional “sporty” performance that pinpoints steering precision and optimal adhesion. The ContiCrossContact LX2 tire is the newest generation of SUV tires that provides outstanding dry and wet grip, enhanced stone ejection, and reduced road noise.
The Continental SSR technology is a well-proven run-flat technology—a comfortable feature that is useful, especially when driving on express roads. The SSR principle is based on a reinforced self-supporting sidewall. This enables the car to continue on its way even with zero air pressure at a maximum speed of 80 kph for up to 80 km, depending on road conditions and the weight of the vehicle.
