Volkswagen Passat sedan will launch in the Philippines by October 2015.
Volkswagen PH will be launching the all-new Passat midsize premium sedan in October. Volkswagen promises that the new car will exude style, handling, and performance like no other.
The new Passat was awarded the 2015 European Car of the Year. Introduced in Europe in November 2014, the new Passat is the eigth generation of a line of large cars produced by Volkswagen since 1973. The Passat has been earning favourable reviews in Europe, particularly for its passenger and cargo space, refined and quiet ride, powerful diesel and gasoline engine variants, and top safety scores.
The Passat offers impressive performance with German-tuned driving dynamics and a responsive and efficient 2.0 TSI engine generating 220 PS, managed by the 6-speed dual-clutch Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) transmission.
The 2015 Passat goes straight from the home of Volkswagen, in Wolfsburg, Germany, to Volkswagen showrooms in the Philippines complete with design and technological touches that would make it a an ideal executive car. These include LED headlights, 18″ alloy wheels, Adaptive Chassis Control, 14-way electric seats, a navigation system, rear view camera, Active Info Display gauges, and a panoramic sunroof.
The 2015 Passat will be introduced at a price range between P2.3 million and P2.8 million.
