Here’s news from Toyota: After the successful launch of the 2.4L variant of the Toyota Alphard last August, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is set to introduce its more powerful sibling equipped with 3.5L V6 Dual VVT-i engine this October.
Championed as Toyota’s flagship minivan, the Alphard boasts of an impressive array of class-leading luxurious features that provide unparalleled hospitality and inspire pride of ownership to its passengers.
Under the hood, the top of the line variant of the Alphard is armed with a 2GR-FE 3.4L Dual VVT-I engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission for effortless acceleration and superb driving performance. It yields a maximum output of 275Ps at 6,200 rpm and 340Nm of torque at 4,700 rpm.
Similar to the 2.4L variant, the 3.5L Alphard features power ottomans for front passenger and second-row seats while third row seats have foldable feature for maximum storage space. It is also equipped with rain sensing wipers, automatic power folding and reverse-linked outer mirrors, as well as power slide and easy closer door with jam protection.
As an added feature, the 3.5L Alphard is equipped with a Navigation system, which is incorporated in the sophisticated Audio system with NXT ceiling actuators that spread sound out evenly across the cabin.
The 3.5L Alphard comes in 4 elegant colors which include: White Pearl, Raven Black, Silver Metallic, and Beige Metallic that is available for this variant only. It is offered at P2.980 million for standard colors and P2.995 million for the White Pearl color. The 3.5L Alphard is set to shine on Philippine roads starting this month.
