Bentley has revealed the first photos and details on its luxury SUV, the Bentayga. The Bentayga is a juggernaut of an SUV, claiming the titles of most powerful and fastest in the category. The launch model contains a 6.0-liter W12 good for 608ps and 900 Nm, mated to an eight-speed automatic. Acceleration to 100kph takes only 4.1 seconds, and top speed is 301 kph.
As an off-road vehicle, the Bentayga contains a Drive Dynamics Mode dial which sets up the vehicle for various road and off-road conditions. Bentayga includes Electronic Night Vision that uses infrared sensors, and a head-up display. No need to bring an iPad as the Bentayga contains its own Entertainment Tablet, a 10.2-inch Android device with 4G connectivity. The audio system features up to 18 speakers with 1950 watts.
Bentayga also contains opulent touches inside the cabin. The wood and leather cabin, with metal trim, assembled by hand, follows the brand’s ‘wing’ design for the dashboard. The SUV seats up to seven, with a 22-way power adjusting driver’s seat. Naturally, there’s a champagne cooler in the trunk. The dashboard clock is by brand partner Breitling.
