Last September 26th, over a thousand riders attended Shell’s first-ever bike fair and participated in a full day of entertainment, games and visited the various exhibits set up by bike clubs and Shell’s OEM partners at the Filinvest Tent, Alabang.
The bike fair was also an opportune time to unveil Shell Advance’s new range of motorcycle oils, with a new packaging and formulation of its Shell Advance Ultra with PurePlus Technology and Active Cleansing Technology AX7, AX5 and AX3 series. The event also introduced the new Shell Advance Scooter Motorcycle Oil variants and the limited edition Shell Advance Ultra MotoGP shrink wrap pack.
One of the highlights of the event was the awarding of the first “Best Bike Club” contest where bike clubs were recognized for their advocacies as organized groups in promoting safety in riding and other forms of public service. The winners include – Sky Drive Society, Paranaque Solo Riders club and Explorer Riders Club, that garnered the top three highest scores and were awarded with cash prizes. Special awards were also given to San Pablo Riders Club for Best Booth, Sky Drive Society for Best Content, and Paranaque Solo Riders Club for Best Booth Demo.
Participants and riders were entertained by renowned OPM artists and bands including Luke Mejares, Poalo Onesa, Klarisse De Guzman and special performances by The Mocha Girls, Callalily, Itchy Worms and Kamikazee. Shell Advance also gave away three brand new motorcycles – a Yamaha Mio, a Suzuki Raider and a Honda CBR 150 to three lucky winners – Kim Bryant Panaligan, Vicky Coral and Elgie Suliva respectively.
“This is our way of thanking our consumers for their continuous support to Shell Advance and we urge all riders to continue patronizing the brand as we look forward to stage another successful event next year to celebrate our partnership!,” said Recca Menchavez, Brand Manager of Shell Advance Philippines during the closing ceremony of the well-attended bike fair.
