skywayWITH traffic expected to grow heavier next month as work starts on the C5 Link Expressway project in Parañaque City, the local government announced on Monday that it would hire 100 additional enforcers to man the flow of vehicles on major roads.

Mayor Edwin Olivarez said the new-hires would augment the city’s current force of 80 traffic enforcers. City administrator Fernando Soriano said the applicants should have completed at least two years of college and be willing to work in shifts.

“Those who will be hired will undergo proper traffic management training,” he added. Expected to be affected by the project are residents and motorists using the roads near Moonwalk and Merville Villages, including Andrews Avenue, Airport Road and Sucat Road.
