Chevrolet goes futuristic with the Colorado and Trailblazer

BANGKOK, THAILAND – Chevrolet gave a sneak view today at the 37th Bangkok International Motor Show of two exciting new show vehicles that should give a strong hint of the automotive company’s future design direction.

The Colorado Xtreme and Trailblazer Premier, while sharing the same platform, bring the pickup and SUV segments to heightened levels. Marcos Purty, managing director of GM Thailand and Chevrolet Sales Thailand, says he hopes to elicit interest and receive valuable feedback from customers on the two vehicles.

During an exclusive interview with Philippine media, GM International vice president of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales Mike Devereux believes that the show vehicles are proof that Chevrolet is constantly exploring how it responds to the maturing market. “We don’t see ourselves as merely a maker of automobiles. We need to be purveyors of mobility solutions.”

The Colorado Xtreme features dramatic engine hood scoops, side plates on the sports bar and a safari bar dial. The Xtreme came in a stunning Furness matte orange hero color perfectly complemented by black accents. The 18-inch full-mud terrain tires completes the dressing up to give the vehicle a unique and exciting persona.

The interior boasts of new auxiliary gauges and accessories such as a passenger grab handle on the side of the instrument panel and the inclusion of an inclinometer. An 8-inch color touch screen and the latest MyLink system equipped with the latest Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity technology are designed to support customers’ active lifestyles.
