April 05,2016

New Chevrolet Sail Subcompact SedanChevrolet Philippines will unveil its new Sail sedan model at the Manila International Auto Show, on April 7, adding to Chevrolet’s line up of sedans, pick up trucks and SUVs. The Sail goes into the highly competitive subcompact market with an unmistakable Chevrolet bow tie logo and grill design with a front styling based on its Dynamic Sculpture Design philosophy. Chevrolet Philippines has not yet revealed any specifications about this new sedan model but it comes with the characteristic Chevrolet brand of refinement and ergonomic convenience inherent in the DNA of the Sail Sedan. It also promises an exceptional level of comfort and refinement.

The new Sail sedan comes with a set of both active and passive safety features. Its Safe-Cage Design comes with a 3-point force dispersion structure with in-built crumple zones and side impact beam in doors that provides enhanced safety for the cabin occupants. Its centrally-located fuel tank is also fortified by cross-structures as an added protection in case of accidental impact. In line with the auto show’s “Smart Mobility” theme, the Sail is expected to feature modern-day connectivity conveniences usually exclusive only to bigger vehicles in previous years.
