Be a fuel saver–financially wise and fashionable at the same time

By Jeanette Ipapo-Tuason June 29,2016

WE ALWAYS hear the encouraging words of how we can be whatever we want to be. But then, life gets in the way and our dreams take a step back until we feel that we are just too busy to live our life to the fullest. I always hear from friends: “ I wish I could do it, but I’m too busy.”

I used to be like that as well; I procrastinated as hell. But I realized that this does not make me a better person or a better mom or wife. In fact, it made me resentful and felt like I couldn’t achieve my potential.

Then, I found out that I didn’t need to cook organic pasta sauce from scratch. All I had to do was find the girl who could, and either get the recipe from her or buy from her.

In the same way, I didn’t need to learn the A-Z of auto maintenance. I just needed to learn the basics, and have an expert on speed dial.

This is the inspiration of the Chicdriven Women Empowerment Expo. The expo  aims to equip women with practical advice to help them have it all.

We brought together passionate individuals to share their expertise.

With the free seminars offered, participants are able to tap into a wealth of information that will enable them to make better decisions for immediate and long-term benefits.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer-supported Chicdriven Expo will happen on July 16 to 17 at the Glorietta Activity Center.

The expo aims to share, inspire and empower women on their journey to “ Having It All.”
