Your trusted Isuzu ride may be old, but it still needs some TLC (tender loving care). This is why Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) is calling all longtime owners to come and visit any of its dealerships to receive a free service checkup.

The free 30-point check-up promo is open to those who bought an Alterra, D-Max, Crosswind, Trooper, Hi-lander or Fuego in 2013 or earlier from IPC.

With last servicing date done in 2014, owners of these qualified vehicles are entitled to receive a free 30-point service inspection.

Included in the inspection are the vehicle’s most critical components: oil and lubricants; brakes and clutch; steering and suspension; electrical system, and tire wear and condition.

The offer started last July 1, and will end Aug. 31, 2016. It will be available at all authorized Isuzu dealerships, branches or satellite offices nationwide.

Nurture relationship

“The commercial success of Isuzu in the Philippines can be largely credited to the trust and loyalty that our customers have consistently afforded the brand.

“It is only proper that we at IPC nurture this relationship by inviting all Isuzu owners, regardless if their vehicles are still under warranty or are not covered anymore, to avail of this free 30-point checkup promo.

“The purpose is to get a full picture of the state of your vehicle when you bring it to us. That way we can give you the true picture on the health of your beloved Isuzu and make you aware of any issues that may impact the safety of you and your passengers,” said IPC president Hajime Koso.

While the free 30-point service checkup will only take approximately 30 minutes, additional time may be needed for processing of papers during the receiving and releasing stage.

Customers are advised to set appointments to ensure faster receiving process.

Explained Koso: “The reason we provide this service is because we want our customers to be fully educated on anything and everything that is going on with their vehicle.

“If you get this type of inspection done, you will know everything that is going on with your vehicle. Therefore, you will be able to do all that is possible to protect and preserve your beloved Isuzu.”

Recommendations

While the free 30-point inspection may lead to recommendations for repair or replacement of parts, IPC said customers are not obligated to have their vehicles admitted for further servicing.

“It’s a way to help our customers know about issues that they might have overlooked. As with most issues, knowing about a problem early on allows our customers a chance to budget such repairs in the near future.

“These checkups we will be doing will certainly catch problems, if any, and can definitely save them money since these things could turn expensive if left unchecked,” explained Koso.

Koso added that over the years, IPC has noted that the most important thing for their customers is to be able to realize that no matter how tough their vehicle may be, regular checkups will ensure that their beloved Isuzu will last long and safely serves them well.

“By working together with our valued customers, we can help ensure that their trusted Isuzu vehicles render many more years of exceptional service,” said Koso.
